After navigating high school and the college process herself, and working six years in college Admissions, Emily Eaton realized preparing for high school and the college process can be daunting. Preparing for, selecting, enrolling in, and managing the cost of your ideal University or post-graduation job involves many decisions and next steps. That’s where Education Next Steps comes in.
Emily created Education Next Steps to help students and families be equipped to take the next step in their educational journey.
Emily is a homeschool graduate who attended her first-choice institution, Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA), debt-free. In high school, she treated scholarship applications as her job and earned $133,000 in scholarships and grants. She then graduated as the Outstanding Graduate with a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration. She later worked in a University Admissions Office for six years, even serving as the Director of Undergraduate Admissions where she made admissions and scholarship decisions. Emily has been a speaker at the Florida Parent Educator Association Convention, Classical Conversations, and the Treasure Coast Homeschool Open House where she spoke about simplifying the college preparation process and navigating scholarships and financial aid. Now, she assists students through Education Next Steps and works as an Instructor of Management at a PBA. Emily is particularly passionate about helping students who want to pursue Christian Higher Education.
